I highly recommend indoor volleyball players that do not typically play much beach volleyball to start doing sand workouts as you lead up to indoor season starting. I have assembled a sand workout that I did a couple years ago. It kicked my butt. The list of benefits of training in the sand is long… 1. Strengthens the feet and ankles2. Improve your vertical and speed3. Able to naturally load your jumps and footwork (sand resistance)4. Reduced impact from landings and speed work5. Improved Repeat Power Ability (able to be powerful for longer)6. Fun!!!!Enjoy… Get access to a free speed and agility program that will help you become a faster, more fluid moving volleyball defender.
