The DP World Tour sees the HimmerLand Golf & Spa Resort play host to the Made in HimmerLand for the final time this week. The event has been running since 1992 and will take with it the shortest par 3 in Tour history-79 yards. Fresh from a runner-up place in last week's Betfred British Masters at The Belfry, Oliver Wilson returns to HimmerLand to defend the title that ended an almost eight-year wait for victory last year. Nicolai Højgaard has high hopes of becoming the first Danish players to win the Made in HimmerLand title. He’s not finished outside the top-32 in his past four events and has two top-5 finishes in his last five. Fellow Dane Thorbjørn Olesen will also fancy his chances at his native event. He sits 10th in DP World Tour Rankings after his 15T finish at the Betfred British Masters last week. His win at the Thailand Classic in February and third place finish at the Soudal Open in May will give him confidence heading to Denmark. Simon Forsström, Yannik Paul and Robert MacIntyre will also fancy their chances this week at the HimmerLand Golf & Spa Resort.
