Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan distance runner who is widely considered the world's greatest marathoner. He has had an illustrious career in athletics and has won several medals at the Olympics. In total, Kipchoge has won four Olympic medals, two of which are gold.
Kipchoge's first Olympic medal was a bronze, which he won at the 2004 Athens Olympics in the 5000m race. He went on to win a silver medal in the same event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Kipchoge's Olympic gold medals were both won in the marathon. He won his first gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he completed the marathon in a time of 2:08:44. Four years later, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Kipchoge defended his gold medal in the marathon, finishing with a time of 2:08:38.
Kipchoge's victories at the Olympics are a testament to his incredible talent and dedication to his sport. He is regarded as one of the greatest marathon runners of all time, holding the world record for the marathon with a time of 2 hr 1 min 9 sec.
