After 18 pars in his opening round, Tyrrell Hatton bounced back with a five under par 67 to make the cut for the weekend at the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

This week will see the DP World Tour head to the Middle East for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship - the first of three events in the United Arab Emirates. Reigning champion Thomas Pieters returns to the event, alongside 2021 winner Tyrrell Hatton, 2019 champions Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood who won the event in 2018. For the second year in a row, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will see players tee it up on the Yas Links Abu Dhabi, the first true links course in the Middle East. Other notable names to look out for include Ryder Cup legend Francesco Molinari, 2021 Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington and former World No.1 Luke Donald.
