The South African finished four shots clear of compatriot Zander Lombard to claim his first ever win at the DP World Tour’s inaugural event. Lawrence backed up his victory with a second win of the season at the Omega European Masters as well as a top 50 finish at The Open Championship – his first ever major. As a co-sanctioned event between the DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour, the Joburg Open will see over 80 South African players tee it up at Houghton Golf Course to the north of Johannesburg.
