Playford City Tennis Centre

The Playford City Tennis Centre is a City of Playford Council-funded initiative made possible through the $55m commitment by Council to the Playford City Sports Precinct.  The centre was designed in collaboration with Tennis SA, Tennis Australia and the Grove Tennis Club.  At an estimated cost of $8.9m it will be capable of hosting international standard tennis events and will become the hub of tennis in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Tennisgear Management Pty Ltd has been appointed as the managers and operators of the facility under a long term lease agreement with Council.  Tennisgear manages a number of commercial tennis facilities in Brisbane and are widely regarded as one of the best tennis facility management companies in Australia.  Tennisgear has been the recipient of many awards for providing professional programs and personalised service to the local tennis community. Their aim is to connect people through tennis and be a socially-responsible leader through delivery of and participation in community events. Tennisgear have the goal to be the number one place to go for tennis in Adelaide and welcome players of all ages and playing standards whether it be for a social hit or for something more serious.
