Clarence Gardens Bowling Club
The Clarence Gardens Bowling Club was founded in 1951 and is on City of Mitcham Council, A.A. Bailey Recreational Ground, in Clarence Gardens.
The Clarence Gardens club rooms and greens front onto Winona Avenue, which has angled street parking. Access to the main car park at the rear, is via Hessian Avenue.
Being located away from major roads, there is minimal traffic noise and we are able to provide ample off-street parking areas.
In 1979, the club rooms were extended to include an extensive lounge, separated from the dining area, which is carpeted and provided with very comfortable seating, and overlooks the “A” & “B” Greens.
The Club has two Tifdwarf (grass) greens, maintained by professional green keepers, and a Tiger Turf synthetic green which was laid in 2014.
