Burnside Rugby Club
Burnside Rugby Union Football Club made its first appearance in the South Australian competition in 1946 and ever since, has been a force to be reckoned with.
In 2021, the clubs 75th year, Burnside became the first club in SA Rugby history to have won a clean sweep of all four senior grades: Premier Grade Men, Premier Grade Women, Second Grade, and Third Grade Men.
Burnside also boasts one of South Australia’s most vibrant and successful junior rugby programs, with teams in each age group from Under 6 to Under 18.
Located in Kensington Gardens, South Australia, the Burnside Rugby Union Club offers a warm, family friendly environment for players and supporters with well maintained clubrooms, a fully stocked bar, canteen and BBQ on training nights and game days with a balcony view of the main field. Parkinson Ovals provides one of the states largest playing field capacity with three lit full size pitches, nestled amongst the serene Kensington Gardens Reserve; Parkinson Oval is a premier rugby venue.
