My name is Ben and I am the owner + head photographer at Ben + Co. (formerly known as Moments by Lens Photography). Together with Julia, we are Wedding Photographers located in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia.

I have a deep love for all things creative and imaginative. My weirder side enjoys The Mighty Boosh + Stranger Things, music by Pink Floyd (the Wall is the best album of all time) and playing old school video game Banjo-Kazooie on Nintendo.

When I’m not taking photos or creating art for Ripwear threads, I spend my time doing deep dives on YouTube (hot ones is my usual go to) or reading rock star autobiographies. My other passion is podcasting, I host my very own podcast called MenTell Health where I delve into topics with guests discussing mental health and our experiences navigating life and all it’s challenges.

I love tattoos + have twenty ink stickers and counting. If I wasn’t doing this (and had a steadier hand) I would definitely become a tattoo artist.. either that or a pirate because of my love for all things pirate related + Kraken Spiced Rum.

When it comes to photography, I am very nostalgic + believe photos hold a special power to remind us who and why we love. The moments in between when we’re truly ourselves, those are what I strive to capture.

I’m big on showing up authentically and being genuine, making those who I work with comfortable to be the unique beings they are. That way they can look back at the memories and see themselves.
