In 1992, Michelle’s Dance school was founded in the scout hall in the suburb of Panorama.

Since then it has moved to the current location in Colonel Light Gardens (1994) and seen hundreds of young dancers walk through the doors to pursue and embrace the art of dance over the past three decades.

All students are welcome in this fun and inclusive environment where they are encouraged to be the best dancer they can be. MDS offers different performance and exam-based classes in Jazz and Tap which encompasses many different styles within these classes such as; Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Broadway and more. Michelle’s Dance School has a fun, warm, nurturing community where the absolute focus is bringing out the best in each student and letting them thrive in their enjoyment of dance.

This is achieved through Michelle, herself taking the time to teach every class alongside student helpers.

MDS also offers the Comdance Exam Syllabus in Modern Jazz and Tap where students can further their dance education.
